After an exciting night of beauty, glamour, and elegance, we now have a worthy, Miss Universe 2009, as Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez was Crown Miss Universe 2009 in front of millions of eyes all around the globe. The gorgeous Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Menzona did the honors, as she Crowned her successor and compatriot. This is the first time in the history of Miss Universe that a country goes back-to-back... wow!
The 58th edition of Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas got off to a shaky start, as some very questionable women were left out of the initial cut including, second Miss Universe 2009 betting odds favorite, Miss Mexico: Karla Carrillo. Throughout the week, Carrillo had remained neck-to-neck with Miss Australia: Rachael Finch in the heated race for Miss Universe 2009 Betting Odds Favorite.
The women were all absolutely beautiful, no doubt about that. However, in my humble opinion some of the top-15 Miss Universe 2009 picks were a little questionable to say the least.
Nevertheless, the Miss Universe 2009 organization really outdid itself with tasteless and preposterous performances from Heidi Montag -- who’s dancing skills made her appear as though she can’t walk and chew gun at the same time -- and some unknown not even worth mentioning. Oh yeah, and that other girl from Destiny’s Child performed as well, I think her name is Kelly... Kudos, Mr. Trump!
