Below is the video of the 15 Finalist in the concluded Miss Universe 2009 Pageant at the Bahamas. These gorgeous ladies had made it to this point but Miss Venezuela conquered it all! Congratulations!

Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez Crowned Miss Universe 2009: From the start, 2009 Miss Universe Betting Odds makers have been saying one thing, and one thing only "Miss Australia: Rachael Finch Will Win 2009 Miss Universe Crown, Bet on It!" and guess what, they were wrong, as for a second year in a row a Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez was Crowned Miss Universe 2009!
After an exciting night of beauty, glamour, and elegance, we now have a worthy, Miss Universe 2009, as Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez was Crown Miss Universe 2009 in front of millions of eyes all around the globe. The gorgeous Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Menzona did the honors, as she Crowned her successor and compatriot. This is the first time in the history of Miss Universe that a country goes back-to-back... wow!
The 58th edition of Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas got off to a shaky start, as some very questionable women were left out of the initial cut including, second Miss Universe 2009 betting odds favorite, Miss Mexico: Karla Carrillo. Throughout the week, Carrillo had remained neck-to-neck with Miss Australia: Rachael Finch in the heated race for Miss Universe 2009 Betting Odds Favorite.
The women were all absolutely beautiful, no doubt about that. However, in my humble opinion some of the top-15 Miss Universe 2009 picks were a little questionable to say the least.
Nevertheless, the Miss Universe 2009 organization really outdid itself with tasteless and preposterous performances from Heidi Montag -- who’s dancing skills made her appear as though she can’t walk and chew gun at the same time -- and some unknown not even worth mentioning. Oh yeah, and that other girl from Destiny’s Child performed as well, I think her name is Kelly... Kudos, Mr. Trump!

Miss Universe 2009 updates
In last year Miss Universe 2008 pageant, we have witnessed the victory of Miss Venezuela , Dayana Mendoza. About 80 contestants from different countries competed for the said event but Miss Venezuela managed and successfully beat all other contestants. Together with her Miss Colombia (Taliana Vargas) also won as the Miss Universe 2008 1st runner-up, Miss Dominican Republic (Marianne Cruz) 2nd runner-up, Miss Russia (Vera Krazova) 3rd runner-up and Miss Mexico as the 4th runner-up. Miss Universe 2008 pageant was held at the Crown Convention Center in the Diamond Bay Resort, Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.
I'm so exited for this upcoming event. I wonder who among these 86 estimated contestants will get the crown. I live in the Republic of the Philippines so my bet is Pamela Manalo our country 's representative. But of course we all know that everyone is deserving to win for they will all show their very best for this Miss Universe 2009 pageant.

Miss Universe 2009 Venue
This is it, this is really it! Miss Universe 2009 is going to start in 2 weeks featuring the world's most beautiful women. An estimated 86 contestants coming from different countries will going to compete for the title and the winner will be crowned on August 23 at the Imperial Ballroom in Atlantis Paradise Island Resort which can be found in Nassau, Bahamas an English-speaking country located in the Atlantic Ocean Southeast of the United states of America and Northeast to east of Cuba, Hispaniola.
Most of us are excited for the said event. Each and every one have their own choice of contestant/s aiming to win the most dreamed title. But sad to say that only one of them can be chosen and crowned as the Miss Universe 2009. From the said event, we can witness different beauties from different countries showing their very best to get the crown and be a pride and symbol for the country they represent.
The Host for this Miss Universe 2009 event is William Hall "Billy" Bush and Claudia Jordan who is a Beauty title holder. She is currently a model on the US Version of Deal or No Deal.

Being the Miss Universe
Miss Universe is one of the Most awaited event every year. From the said event we can witness different beauties from different countries competing for one title, the Miss Universe. But the process of choosing the right Miss Universe is not that easy, its a long process actually. Countries which want to participate must hold a contests first in each city to chose a candidate to become the country's representative for the said event. The winner must compete again to other winners from cities to cities and it is the time that the country has to select who will become the representative for Miss Universe. In the Philippines, it is usually the Bb. Pilipinas Miss Universe winner.
According to the organizers, the Miss Universe pageant is not about the looks and the body. Women who aspire to become a Miss Universe must be intelligent, cultured, well-mannered and have a concerned to their country. Many who desired to won the title lose the triumph not because they are not good but it’s because they failed to satisfy the judges especially when it comes to the question and answer portion. Many candidates has lost the contest because they did not have a good and satisfying answer to the question.
Moreover, this pageant is indeed to promote peace and the cultures of each country they represent. Any candidate who is part of this contest is a sure winner for this is a big time event that every beautiful and talented woman in the world could ever wished.
